Proshyan pomegranate wine, Armenia

Packed with antioxidants, pomegranates may seem the latest food fashion. But they're nothing new in Armenia, where both pomegranates and wine-making date back thousands of years. When you put them together, you get an unusual wine. The label promises "semi-sweet", and it is, but the pomegranate tartness keeps it from being too sweet.
